Forest Journey

Apart from the woods

I had lost myself,

Entangled, and mind-bound

So into the woods

I sought myself,

Bare feet upon the ground

Around the woods

I saw myself,

Reflected in each surround

Within the woods

I met myself,

Beings all around

Rooted in the woods

I heard myself,

Stillness was the sound

Embracing the woods

I felt myself,

In that deep profound

So out of the woods

I remain myself,

Powerful and unbound

Being the woods

Within my Self,

The lost will always be found
